 computer viruses are malicious software designed to attempt some form of
destruction to someones computer system. they are instructions or code that have been designed to reproduce as they attach themselves to other programs without the users knowledge.

Once the infection has been transferred, the viruses can spread like wildfire though
the entire library of files.

anti- virus programs examine the boot sector and the executable files on the disk identify any virus and try to eliminare it. you can also configure the anti-viru programs so the are active at all time.

                                       Boot Sector Viruses 

the boot sector virus is an early type of computer virus that spreads by hiding itsel in an invisible location on your hard drive or floppy disk.
it may also be caller system sector viruses  because they attack the system sector.


                                           File Viruses

 A file virus is one that replaces a key system file on your computer. these viruse:can reload themselves every time you start your computer up.
